Item Filtering Guide

Opening the Filter GUI

Hold nothing in your hands and Shift + Right-click on a hopper to open the filter interface.

Setting Filters

Place items you want the hopper to accept into the filter slots. Only those items (and no others) will pass through the hopper.

Clearing Filters

Leave the filter slots empty to allow all items to pass through.

Combining with Sorting

Use multiple hoppers with different filters to create a complete sorting system. Each hopper can have unique item rules.

💡 Tips & Tricks

  • Start with Slowest Hoppers for basic sorting, then upgrade key hoppers to Faster/Fastest for bottlenecks
  • Use Extreme Hoppers at the output of high-yield farms to prevent backup
  • Combine with Deep Link hoppers to pull from containers up to 15 blocks away for compact designs
  • Filters work best when you know exactly what items you want to sort
  • Experiment with hopper placement to create efficient item routing patterns
